Lunch with Jo, Dinner with cousins, Thursday reply

Lunch with Jo at Central
Yup. The day has come for lunch with Jo. Something that I needed to play a bigger part of organising although it was a suggestion by someone else....well perhaps as it also something that I wanted, thus I will just make some more effort to organise it. And I think I wouldn't regret about it at all. The pre-lunch arrangements are as follows

Pre Lunch arrangements
YP just mentioned about it, after the night safari...well....words are always nice to listen too...Thus I took up the idea and execute it. This also let me to know....what is spoken is never binding for others. Well, at least the final week was great.....it will be like 4th time in a week. Thus I guess...well that is quite a lot times for a week. Well as the day was chosen with consideration of the working person = Joanna...thus it was wednesday and YP already have a late breakfast appointment and Jo can't make it on thursday. The stage is set. This is how the lunch was arranged.....it is also great in a way, I can execute my plan B.
Plan B: The plan to pass things to Jo. Yup the thing was able to be passed to Jo.....to be passed to YP. Also I prepared more chips in case of anything that comes up....well they are specially selected chips.....their objective is to bribe people....haha as it was already being mention as bribes. Yes they are...and they achieved an objective that I don't really expect. We ate Central, at the new stall. I ate Black Pepper Pasta and she ate some katsu don set. Well my food was quite spicy.... We talked about work, about my work....also talked about her work...and she gave her advice on work.....we talk, chatted ...interacted.....nothing much that was significant....talked about her brother....I mentioned about my brother and those nephew and niece. The hour really pass very fast as she had only 1 hour lunch break. Finally passed her a bag of chips, mentioned to her is to bring her.....and also passed her an envelope to be passed to YP. Attached to the envelope is a small card that was sealed with a short instruction. That I wouldn't share....and also I dun really remember what was written too......basically it deals with what is contain in the envelope. Special instruction.....not special words....
As she walk back to her work place, for me to the nearest bus stop...as I was thinking of taking 174....I walked further than I thought....as there was no 174 at Central.....as we walked, I asked her the question that I was too curious to find out. It is about correct image....yeah....it is the best translation and description I can think out here....gosh...I am good.....so both information I know....and thus I was informed. How do I find about the answer? Well it was both welcoming and also wel-ming. Anyway, it is too early to say much as I am already going to fly off to HK/SZ in a couple of days time. I then left to PI to settled my things and she back to her workplace.....and back home after nothing I can accomplished at PI. I went home to take a rest then and await for time to go out for dinner. And next year will I know how that thing will go.

Early I arrived at the dinner place. Meeting place is to be HV Cold Storage. I went and walked around the area to find out what are the nice food to eat, good restaurant to go. Due to the fact there is a spoil of choice, I just went back to Cold Storage, cool down a bit and not long later, all of them came. Finally, in quite short moment, my cousin-in-law decided Fosters.....which was ok.....as I didn't want to eat Japanese, and neither Chinese, and least of all, HK.
Dinner with cousins at HV Fosters.
A gap between my cousin - in -law and I ...the rest sat on the other side of the table. So we ordered our food. I selected the BBQ Pork Spare Ribs. So as we were talking, and the "younger" ones then were talking about Sims 3.....and that really made they a chat group...thus my cousin and I just talked about the transition. How things are going? How the transition affect each other and how we view about it. Also my cousin-in-law inject his view too. Well for me, it is just a transition among my transition. To me, in a way, does not affect me at all. Also, with the current fact that I may have the heart for youth issues, however I couldn't even secure myself a stable job. Now with a job overseas, it is really something that is for the Lord to decide, no longer me any more. I perhaps have came to the checkpoint. Perhaps I no longer have the energy to meet other's need and my needs are getting more too. I didn't really know whether we did talk about the dog owner....though little was discussed due to the fact that neither my cousin nor my cousin-in-law know her that well...However I heard something that tinkles my ears.... A statment....which I managed to only catch a half liner.
It seems to be like there are some exploration that will be going on.....well, as I am unsure of the info....I will say too much about it...
Final thought on hearing a half-liner info about exploration...didn't really catch who and who. Though it came quite to a surprise to me....didn't catch the other party name though....well I was then led to this thought.....does serving in Ministry have an effect in someone going to getting their mate....hmmm as I wonder...I as ponder....I speculate ...and then I just say...well, as the Lord leads, the Lord will lead. That was just one of the highlight of the night. And concludes a wednesday.

Thursday is staying at home...as dinner appointment was cancelled....and it was changed to phone appointment instead.
Phone appointment was with Jerome, my cell leader...mentioned 3 things . Character, Reflection of past experience pertaining to job work, Lastly is something I can't remember at this moment....wonder who can fill me in.
Then in the end comes the following:
Thursday, after Jo and YP had their dinner. A rare sms came in. As there was an envelope to be passed to YP via Jo....YP commented the card is cute. Mentioned of the difference in bribery amount - 2 pack of chips vs 1 cent. I did reply to the sms....however I can't remember what did I reply....something along the line of chips is to make hot and spicy Jo...and I wish I could even bribe YP.
Anyway it further conclude something for me, it is easier for her to find me that I finding her...thus yeah :)...yeah for what......just yeah.......that is for thursday...and comes friday which was suppose to be Meals@home...but it was changed to Cell group....to me....no free dinner...no steamboat......no going to Shinshin house....no meeting of the chinese students....based on the reason of cell group is more important...and since I will only meet them once, so it is still better for me to attend the last cell group...so since it is going to be arranged that way, I will just move as accordingly...my orders are just simple....just go and entertain students...and host them.

That wraps up Thursday. Friday cell was quite simple....Just plain watching of Ps Benny Ho's audio sermon on worship...followed by a session of worship....of great worship......giving all the praises deep with our hearts.

Prata...after cell group...supper...more food. Dun really remember what was chatted about. Asking what is the plan tomorrow, how special will tomorrow be. Who is driving too. For me, quite simple, friday is the last night I am going to be in Singapore. Saturday, the day to come and it is past midnight already. Thus that date come closer, I do wonder who will really come, and whom are those will come. Well, nothing much to speculate about and just plain making sure that all things are in place and preparing to wake up early the next day then.... :)

An inspirational story

One day Satan and Jesus were
having a
conversation.

Satan had just departed
from the Garden of Eden, and he was
gloating and boasting.

"Yes, sir, I just caught
a World full of people down there. I
set me a trap and used a little bait.
I knew they couldn't resist. Got 'em
all!"

"What are you going to
do with them?" Jesus asked.

Satan replied, "Oh, I'm
gonna have fun! I'm gonna teach them
how to marry and divorce each other,
how to hate and abuse each other, how
to drink and smoke and curse. I'm
gonna teach them how to invent guns
and bombs and kill each other. I'm
really gonna have fun!"

"And what will you do
when you get done with them?" Jesus
asked.

"Oh, I'll kill 'em,"
Satan glared proudly.

"How much do you want
for them?" Jesus asked

"Oh, you don't want
those people. They ain't no good.
see,
you'll take them and they'll just
hate
you. They'll spit on you, curse you
then kill you. You don't want those
people!!"

"How much?" He asked
again.

Satan looked at Jesus
and sneered, "All your blood, tears,
and your life."

Jesus said without
hesitation, "DONE!"

Then He paid the price.

- Isn't it funny how
simple it is for people to trash God
and then wonder why the World's going
to Hell?

- Isn't it funny how
someone can say "I believe in God"
out and
still follow Satan?

- Isn't it funny how you
can re-post a thousand jokes through
blogs and they spread like
wildfire, but when you start posting
messages regarding the Lord, people
think twice about sharing?

- Isn't it funny how I
can be more worried about what other
people think of me than what God
thinks of me.

- I pray, for everyone
who re-posts this, they will be
blessed
by God in a way special for them

- If You Love God...
And, are not ashamed of all the
marvelous things HE has done for
you...

Marriage and Relationships

Girls, just to let you know...
if you get them by the balls, their hearts and minds will follow.

'When a man brings his wife flowers for no reason - there's a reason'

Molly McGee

Marriage is not a word. It is a sentence (a life sentence!!!)

Marriage is love. Love is blind. Therefore marriage is an
institution for the blind.

Marriage is an institution in which a man loses his Bachelor's
Degree and the women gets her Master.

Marriage certificate is just another name for a work permit.

Marriage requires a man to prepare 4 types of "RINGS"
-The Engagement Ring
-The Wedding Ring
-The Suffe-Ring
-The Endu-Ring

Getting married is very much like going to the restaurant with
friends....
You order what you want, and when you see what the other fellow
has, you wish you had ordered that.

A happy marriage is a matter of giving and taking; the husband
gives and the wife takes.

I recently read that love is entirely a matter of chemistry. That must
be why my wife treats me like toxic waste. - David Bissonette

Marriage is like a cage; one sees the birds outside desperate to get
in, and those inside desperate to get out. - Montaigne

I'm not saying my wife's a bad cook exactly
but we have a complete set of soup knives.

"I never married because there was no need.
I have three pets at home which answer the same
purpose as a husband. I have a dog which growls
every morning, a parrot which swears all
afternoon and a cat that comes home late at night."

- Marie Corelli

"Some of us are becoming the men we wanted to marry."

- Gloria Steinem

"Do you know why God witheld the sense of humour from women?
That we may love you instead of laughing at you."
Son :How much does it cost to get married, Dad?
Father:I don't know, son, I'm still paying for it.
Son :Is it true, Dad, that I heard that in ancient China, a man
doesn't know his wife until he marries?
Father:That happens everywhere, son, EVERYWHERE.

Love is one long sweet dream, and marriage is the alarm clock.

- Mrs Patrick Campbell British actress Said to a man (1940) "The Life of Mrs Pat" M.Peters

They say that when a man holds a woman's hand before marriage, it
is love; after marriage it is self defence.

Marriage is a thing which puts a ring on a woman's finger and two
under the man's eyes.

Marriage life is full of excitement and frustration:
-in the first year of marriage, the man speaks and the woman
listens.
-in the second year, the woman speaks and the man listens.
-in the third year, they BOTH speak and the NEIGHBORS listen.

It is true that love is blind but marriage is definitely an
eye-opener.

My wife knows how to make my long stories short --
She interrupts

Seems to me the basic conflict between men and women,
sexually, is that men are like firemen. To men, sex
is an emergency, and no matter what we're doing we can
be ready in two minutes. Women, on the other hand, are
like fire. They're very excited, but the conditions
have to be exactly right for it to occur.

- Jerry Seinfeld

The best reason to divorce a man is a health reason: you're sick of him.

Never trust a man who says he's the boss at home.
He probably lies about other things too.

Women are like fine wine. They all start
out fresh, fruity and intoxicating to the mind and then turn full-bodied with
age until they go all sour and vinegary and give you a headache.

Before marriage, a man yearns for the woman he loves. After marriage,
the 'Y' becomes silent.

After marriage, husband and wife become two sides of a coin; they just
can't face each other, but still they stay together. -- Hemant Joshi

Marriage is when a man and woman become as one; the trouble starts
when they try to decide which one.

I gave my wife a new watch for her birthday . . . waterproof,
shockproof, unbreakable and anti-magnetic. Absolutely nothing
could happen to it. She lost it.

-Joey Adams

Sure God created man before woman.. but then you always make a
rough draft before The Final Masterpiece.

According to a new survey, women say they feel more comfortable
undressing in front of men than they do undressing in front
of other women. They say that women are too judgmental, where, of
course, men are just grateful.

-Jay Leno

Women say all men are the same, but they
have no problem telling you how
different you are from Mel Gibson.

I know a mother-in-law who sleeps in her spectacles, the better to see her
son-in-law suffer in here dreams.
- Attributed to Ernest Coquelin

Don't marry someone you can live with....Marry someone you can't live
without.
-- Anon --

"...This newest vitamin is made from chicken soup. It makes men cocky and
women lay better..."

Marriages are made in Heaven. So are thunder & lightning.

"Relationships are hard. It's like a full time job, and we should treat it
like one. If your boyfriend or girlfriend wants to leave you, they should
give you two weeks' notice. There should be severance pay, and before they
leave you, they should have to find you a temp."

- Bob Ettinger

The wise never marry, and when they marry, they become otherwise.

There are 2 times when a man doesn't understand a woman
- before marriage and after marriage.

Women will forgive anything.
Otherwise, the race would have died out long ago.

- Robert A. Heinlein

The most effective way to remember your wife's birthday is to forget it once.

Food Quotes

I am not a vegetarian because I love animals; I am a vegetarian
because I hate plants.
-- A. Whitney Brown

One of the most wonderful things about life is that we must regularly
stop what we are doing and devote our attention to eating.

-- Samuel Johnson

I didn't fight my way to the top of the food chain to become a vegetarian !

If god didn't want us to eat animals, He wouldn't have made them out of
meat.

Eat less fresh food. Eat more things containing preservatives.
Preservatives are called preservatives because they help you live longer.

Men are like a fine wine. They all start out like
grapes, and it's our job to stomp on them and keep them in the dark until they
mature into something with which you'd like to have dinner.

He is so polite, he wouldn't open an oyster without
knocking on the shell first.

A great way to lose weight is to eat naked in front of a
mirror. Restaurants will almost always throw you out before
you can eat too much.

Amazing Race@Hort Park...+ an Amazing day - 25 Jul 2009

Amazing Race @Hort Park

A seemingly repeated event for the students...however it seems to take us abit of effort to do it.....But give thanks to God, with his guidance, those who were there enjoyed themselves very much. I got a group that was quite quiet....demure.....I think it is called demure....However the weather held although the humidity can be felt.Everything well according to schedule...although there was a slight delay. The station were seemingly not that easy for my group. Although with some hint and help they managed to also by chance, return to the end point the same time as the other groups whom had finished all the 7 stations. Yeah we also finished too.... :)by doing less....we still finish at the same timing. :) Overall, it was a fulfilling experience, including myself although my energy level wasn't as high as initially....due to the fact of the ups and down at home....well guess I didn't prepare well enough...and still somehow fall into the hole. early in the week. But with all the debriefing...I guess there are quite a bit to be touched up....but many things to give thanks to.....In Simple....Thank God for it is just given :)

After the debriefing....no time to go JJ house for BBQ....so a change of plan.....ZY suggested dinner@Bliss, Punggol Park....sounds good and we went...coz no one has any great suggestion.

Dinner @ Bliss, Punggol Park
Yup here it is.....Bliss Restaurant. It is located at Punggol Park, a couple of bus stops away from. I does have a outdoor dinning area that has the view of the pond......we took the tables inside....which gave me a very homely simple place. There was not many tables for me to look at any sample of food. Well. Looking at the menu, it really look quite simple although the pricing and the style of food speaks for itself. It is a classic food at about half the price of the real thing. The service was good. Most of the starters came about the same time. Also cam the main course.....from what I know, main course of a couple of people is good to serve about the same time so that the whole table can enjoy the main course at the same timing. All went well except JJ ones was missed out...His was on a hot plate.....all of us were speculating what was happening to the hot plate....as for me, I took Pan Friend Dory Fish . Here is the picture

Portion wise it is just nice.....with decoration.....nice gravy.....it is just simple garnishing / sprinkle....and salad.....gosh it still looks good at the timing of looking at it again.. It is also a time that I was trying to tell some jokes...ask some question that I have learnt about during a period of researching... those question are mostly found on this blog ....ie they are already posted on this blog....however the source comes from books and internet. Guess it is quite nice to continue finding more of them.....at least they are great entertainers.......great use of the language and words. In the end, the Tiramisu ....a special cake given...... and yucks the IE.....got Javascript error....well the photo will have to wait... Pic is in my facebook album. It was a great time spent with brother in christ...especially Gary and Kenny. The other thing is another objective accomplished......it is a great place to visit....during the evening...though to be ready with all the living things flying around....espcially those blood suckers.....It is a nice place....I will remember though not sure whether will I get to go such a place.....Saturday as it is.... just like a nice trip back, together with Kenny, talking to him...and finally getting the chance to take the Circle line too.....Well it seems everything is like normal...a trip back by myself....thinking of whether to ask for favour from nearby drivers.....ideas ideas....thinking of how to ask, should I ask.....well well ...as much consideration as I can. AMK.....time to alight..... and I thought my eyes were playing a fool on me.....coz I got a dry feeling my eyes....and my legs woople a bit I think....well....I guess....nah...I can't believe....in my mind, analysed along the way.....Saturday...NDP.....with Pastor.....should be for serving......where got so early come back one..... however part of me say....well just take a second look after topping up my card....so I hasten and took time to top up....when...there is a time difference....so within that, if it is she...it is....

Yup here is it...

Amazing to see YP at AMK after her NDP show as a audience. Wonder what is so touching about it. With her cousin in yellow t shirt...gosh I can't remember his name...wonder who can remind me...haha.....She mentioned to me that she went to watch NDP as audience....oh....and she even mention Pastor cried during the show....woah...that got me interested....as I was looking for tickets for my shi mei....and after input from Melvin....seems like it is harder to get... Gosh....make me want to want NDP too....Well her cousin....again can't remember his name....wearing yellow....too....same as me...I was wearing the Yellow 100KM Touch Diabetics Adventure trail walk.... and like always her.....her comment is just so her.....the comment she said.....cousin like father....haha....
Yellow and yellow..... haha...gosh....well....just took a short walk with both of them as they went to get their dinner....I nt sure the way I ask of joining them for dinner is weird....and follows the reply of it is already great to catch her ....well...spoken is spoken......she said her friend is picking them up...and asked if I wanted to join....guess I just mentioned...oh that my limit....and then the statement about it is great to catch her already.......some how I feel these are quite foolish reply.....well....learn ....learn learn.... I am just so foolish.....

Anyway, they bought their dinner.....I went my way back to bus terminal to take bus....they went their way.....what left is just great .... a Thankgiving for not just for the whole day, everything....but thanking God that He still knows what really cheer me up for a not so well-done day....and He has not forgotten about me.

How the absence of love and presence of hurt have significant in life

Today, 23 Jul 2009 was a great day for me. Already the day before, my good dear friend Biyang asked me out for dinner. It is a nice dinner at MOF. He got his card after the meal there. And also, it is my 3rd time eating there....We had a good chat and a nice dinner.....nice food, I took Yasai Tempura Bento while he took something else that I can't remember. But we had nice ice cream......He took peach sundae...for me....his favourite/recommended one that has everything.....

Yum yum......we talked much....he also shared about his time and his work, life and everything. We also almost wanted to watch movie together.....gosh...haha.... well, to him, I am still that lame and joke-y.....him, still the same friend that I am comfortable with.....and he knows of course who I like, and also how is life with me. He is indeed a great friend, someone that I can just tease him that I dun find him, he dun find me.....haha.... well in conclusion, he is still a great friend. Here I would say clearly.....Happy birthday to him.....08 Aug 2009....

That is the day before.....The actual day.....woke up late.....rushing abit to finish up the Game Master instruction. Then it was a nice and really full lunch with Evonne......and that is after my mum made nice stuff for me

2 Bread and 8 cups.....yum yum......... Thai lunch was even better. 2 person eating like 5 dishes....one of that is a stable dish.....gosh that is alot......but well a walk around Little India and then to Arab street should have burn them all......but it made me thirty....Round 3..of the day for me......Tong Xing fen...the left over and Lychee Soda.........gosh....great drink...... Did talk abit with her but mainly on surface and non-penetrating things as it is her cool off period. Well there is also an interesting question she ask me causally during the thai lunch......as we were talking abt like and stuff....about people....and also asking me whether will I get a HK wife.....the question is whether do I like her as a friend....I told her just plainly.....Nope I do not.....Liking her as a friend is not enough....I love her as a brother. That is just so clean and clear. So accompanied her for a while on the bus before I alight to go for Round 4.
Round 4. Dinner with Jerry.....one of the more serious but something that I was waiting for quite a while. We had a good talk about games.....how his work.....his ICT next week.....how all things are....development and happening before I dropped the question.... How is he and Evonne?
So we talked .....I shared.....and informed him about certain things....though due to time, I didn't really go into details. As I reflect back, telling him how she felt when he said certain words. Saying abit about what is grace in a not soon clear manner from my opinion.....well however both of us did conclude.....it is not easy.....although I mentioned it will take a miracle......I guess I didn't further explain more which I felt was crucial....however I guess the timing was not right...and things are at the brim already. Miracle to define now is it is not something that Man can created but something that God can. It is where the limits of Man comes to and end and where God begins. This is also where faith comes into play. Grace is as I think now, really when someone is doing wrong, we have the grace to forgive the person of what he did and move on with him. Of course there are more things and other verse pending to after-forgiveness and also matters pending to repentance. Miracle is a gift that shows God is still gracious and still love his people. Miracle are there to allow his people to witness the love of God. However the absence of miracle does not equal to the absence of love from God. I also told him about how there is still that gem in her..... something that I would say I like to see in my mate too. And too the truth that I treat her nt being a friend, but as a sister to me. Well the rest are touch and go, touch and go.....gosh this really proves something....the need to be ready and Really Really ready.......I pray that the Lord will have his hand in this and let this be another open door for your grace and mercy to fall upon him. Let it not be continue where the absence of love and presence of hurt that can be so significant and handicap to such a relationship that started.
The best way to end the day or night was......WT Feeling......it just happens again.......gosh....oh man....but that reminds me.....Only you God is gracious.....and Only you whom make and allows things to happen. She cried and there is nothing more I can do now....perhaps it is all sealed already. What I can do is pray now for the moment....Lord, for Evonne, let your pruning be gently on her and allow her not to be stiff-neck. Open her heart and her ears, soften her heart. Let there be a divine exchange of her heart. For Jerry, Prune his character......I pray the blessing of the fruits of the spirit to grow and glow within him. Let him have the peace and calmness to handle the situation. Let him have the courage and the Rock to be firm, with love and gentleness. Let not his heart be harden but let it be for the filling of your love to him. For I ask and seek again, forgive them and have mercy upon them. Speak of your blessing and guidance. Let not forsake them. For let them be dear to you. I pray and seek in Jesus' Name, Amen.

Ref: The 100 most-read Bible verses at BibleGateway.com Share Saturday, 16 May 2009 at 00:00

What are the most popular Bible verses on BibleGateway.com?

We thought it would be interesting to find out, so we crunched some numbers from a (relatively) small sample of 25 million Bible passage searches from March and April. This list isn’t actually based on a straight popularity count; simply tallying the most-read verses results in a top 100 list that consists almost entirely of John 3:16 and verses from 1 Corinthians 13, Genesis 1, Romans 8, and Psalm 23. Our list instead considers instances in which BibleGateway.com users looked at three or fewer verses at one time.If you’re curious to know what the least popular Bible passage is, it’s 1 Chronicles 23-27, which details the organization of the priests and officials under King David. Here are the top 100 most-read Bible verses on BibleGateway.com (all verses quoted from the NIV):

1. John 3:16: For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

2. Jer 29:11: For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

3. Rom 8:28: And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.

4. Phil 4:13: I can do everything through him who gives me strength.

5. Gen 1:1: In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.

6. Prov 3:5: Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding.

7. Prov 3:6: in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.

Gaming and celebrating Good Brother birthday

Today is a great day. Finally today is the day that I finally, with great help from Mingwei, the regular Army Gaming Group........ The people who attended Mingshan, Mingwei, Alvin, Biyang, Lawrence, Jia jin. The games we played: Take 6 Board game. Vabanque by them as I observe.

Before this, we ate at the Jap foodcourt at Northpoint. BY and I shared the Unagi and Egg rice. Mingshan, the acclaimed champ by Mingwei, is second to arrive.....Mingwei and Alvin are the ultimate champions....They came so late. Great and I bought a cake. The purpose is quite simple...

So after the games......as usually, the most non-violent game can still lead to spills though......spilling liquid is green tea. I am glad that the small little celebration for JJ, the most wanted I have always.....I give what I think is best to this good brother. Thank God for all these...for I believe, without his intervention, today will not happen.

Thank and glory to God.

Dinner & Tour of Night Safari @ 17 Jul 2009

Yup....today is the dinner with people from NTU.....Meals@home......while the home is at AMK Hub.

It came to me as a surprise assignment when I was asked to go for tonight. It came in with a question, asking whether am I free on Friday night. I was thinking it was about cell group.....however it turned out to be an assignment which the title already indicated. Well it was an unexpected one, like I repeating myself....gosh I guess I am having a hangover from the tour.

Today it turned out well....went for a run toward a destination near Causarinia Prata house in the early morning. Had a great breakfast with him....we had a good chat and found out that he is staying at home doing nothing on friday night. After the breakfast which lasted for almost 2 hours....both of us went back our ways....though he was contemplating of whether to walk back or run back after the run. I.....take bus for sure.

So then back home, guess I was really tired from a not so good sleep the previous night. And also upon reaching Causarinia, I finally seem to attain enlightenment.....now I understand why I would have such a encounter.....coz she do not take public transport......or perhaps taking a lift on the way to their coffee shop. Guess that solved the mystery that I had since I was working with SRC BDRP.

So comes the dinner...I was there early, after a noon nap. Reason being was hoping to play games with Colin and gang....but well due to delay, I continued waiting at the MRT station. Finally the timing came. 6pm. The only person I saw was Huisuan....the best thing is I dun really remember the face of the group ( which reason was quite obvious as I didn't interact with that other than put food to them). Second thing is Huisuan didn't bring her phone......so the contact person was her.....so luckily I printed out the list with the contacts.....Thank God. Thus made a few calls, and then finally managed to link up with them. 1 guy + 2 girls. The 2nd guy couldn't make it due to school..... So I am glad we managed to strike a conversation with them. Thank God for that....coz with the "assignment" mentality.....lurking temptation around....and a questioning warning from Jerome....haha....got to focus myself into it. Anyway, it was really pleasant talking to them, hearing from them and finding out what places they went, where they are going too......though still quite general things. I enjoyed their company and I hope they too enjoyed ours....

Dinner was simple....they ate Japanese food.....while I ate Mini Wok....at the food court and AMK Hub which I really really rarely go there. Bubble tea for me later and a loan of $10 to HS. (This is for record purpose haha). Talked about almost everything under the sun....surprising talking in Chinese.........Woah about Kobe Bryant, Shaq O' Neil...basketball...NBA.....gosh topics that I have lost touch....and I was trying to translate the chinese to english. That is XiaoZhang.

Shu Bo and Jia Huan (which initially I thght was false Marriage)......both of them were closer to each other coz same gender I guess. One want to study Biology or even Medical. The other wanted to study Business.....I think SB for Business, JH for Medical. Though I found out from them that they have only a selection of course to choose from. Bubble tea for me before heading via bus towards the Night Safari. Chatted more on the bus......DOTA, CS, also talked about the WWII incidents, the Gas Chamber used by Nazi Germany in Austria.......gosh lots of things and how they spend their time too......

Upon arrival, photo taking time and first is the Bronze statue. Took a few photos, then we proceed into the show. There was a outdoor, i.e. outside the premises in the eating area show where they were blowing fire. There is where we met YP, which I first noticed about her new hairstyle, though I didn't mention to her about it. Before entry took a few more photos again.....though we missed out a group photo due to technical taking. Upon entering, there is when HS, whom already mentioned to me that she is not going for Night Safari left us...... Like already on my toes, with such news make me even more tipsy toes. Well off we went into the Night Safari.

Fishing Cat trail.....looking the the Fishing Cat.....some lame jokes, we were just observing and testing our eye sights to find all the animals. We walked for a while before we proceed to the Night Animal show.....where the Female INDIAN host was really in control of the crowd.....lighten and lifting up the mood with such unprecedented stage control. Gosh....the first was seeing a Dutch kid volunteer who pop the grape that was meant for the animal later......with the help of his dad translating.....things settled down easier...haha...

Then followed by showing of the Hyena, Snake, Otter showing off their recycling skills.......it is snack time from the Nanny....haha....her bag full of potato chips....+ her usually favourite Hot & Spicy one.....eat will be as Hot & Spicy Girl like her....haha.....Just Tea drinks too......Great Nanny around......So show was great......focus on the show.... After the show, help them to throw rubbish, help the Nanny to climb up the steps....haha.... and off we went to the Trams ride..... As we were taking the first carriage, and the 2 girls were sitting by themselves....they were like otter cuddling together.....without making the nice cuttie sound.....so sensitive to the changes. We went around the tram, got off at the East Lodge to visit the Bats.......there were no Batman though..... we were also thinking abt the bats hanging upside down above us and wondering how would they defaecate. That made us walked faster..... We missed the flying squirrel though it is quite hard to find them. ...More lame jokes....more lame statement......YP suan-ing Xiao Zhang that he is missing HS....haha....it was quite ending off tiring for them....and we went to the souvenir shop....I think YP, being playful, used the plastic luminous viper and whisk it next to Shu Bo, who was taken by scare though she already played with it.....what a reaction...haha..... Yup...midnight and time to go back.....we parted our ways....and I think I should remember to feedback that YP group, some of them are going to have their exams or test at the end of the month. I am not sure of the rest though.

In conclusion, it was a great and fulfilling experience at the Night Safari with such a company. It came unexpected but yet left much in me. I release the news that I will be flying off on 1 Aug....hearing YP say perhaps a meal before I fly comforts....though I like this answer...as the Lord leads...... the whole tour just let me have one simple conclusion. God is good. Lord You are just so great and yet gracious to me. I hope I was on track and in your will. Thank God for helping me reclaim back that silly side of me, who dun mind talking to people and strangers. Thank God for the open doors and open opportunities. Thank God for all these are greatly appreciated and runs deep in me, letting me know that you really know my deepest desire and just know how to show me that you are everything, in all, through all and over all. Thank God for this is where it will continue and rekindle the thanksgiving heart....and the heart of service....a heart that is recovering and regaining ground.

If this were a gift of Quality Time, truly God is the true-est giver to the core

Today....something special

Today is a day of special.....So what is so special about today?

Today, I managed to wake up at 6am plus. And then I went for a walk and short run at the Upper Seletar Reservoir. It was a slow but yet nice walk and run. Was having in mind, the excitement to be able to run to some eating place or end point. For me, even since I have encounter with the opposite gender, it is my objective to run to a place near her house. I believe I last thought of it since 1998 or 1999. Now already 10 years down the road, I have yet accomplished it. So before I fly, I should at least do it once. The end point is Sembawang Hill Estate. Where it is...go and check it out for yourself. Near that area is Casuarina Road is where the nice Prata shops are. Thus I am getting JJ to run there from his house and me running from my house. It happens to be about equidistant from either of our house to that place. 3.21KM vs 3.13KM as provided by online drive direction source. Well, I am quite excited about it. Though I have not ran anything further than 2.4km, this week will be the week that I will train for it. Something to look forward and work towards. Well wonder will Miss Piggy be awake by the timing....haha

Do you have the standard to get into Stanford??

Adopted from some blog

A first-grade teacher, Ms Anna (Age 22 ) was having trouble with one of her students.

The teacher asked the boy, 'what is your problem?'

The boy answered, 'I'm too smart for the first-grade. My sister is in the third-grade and I'm smarter than she is! I think I should be in the third-grade too!'

Ms Anna had enough. She took the boy to the principal's office. While the boy waited at the reception of the office, the teacher explained to the principal what the situation was.

The principal told Ms Anna he would give the boy a test and if he failed to answer any of his questions he was to go back to the first-grade and behave.

The boy was brought in and the conditions were explained to him and he agreed to take the test.

Principal: 'What is 3 x 3?' Boy: '9'.

Principal: 'What is 6 x 6?' Boy: '36'.

So it went with every question the principal thought a third-grade should know The principal looks at Ms Anna and tells her, 'I think Boy can go to the third-grade. '

Ms Anna says to the principal, 'I have some of my own questions, can I ask him?' The principal and boy both agree.

Ms Anna asks, 'What does a cow have four of that I have only two of?

Boy: after a moment 'Legs.'

Ms Anna: 'What is in your pants that you have but I do not have?'

Boy: 'Pockets.'

Ms Anna: 'What starts with a C and ends with a T, is hairy, oval, delicious and contains thin whitish liquid'?

Boy: 'Coconut'

Ms Anna: 'What goes in hard and pink then comes out soft and sticky'?The principal's eyes open really wide and before he could stop the answer, the boy was taking charge.

Boy: 'Bubblegum'

Ms Anna: 'What does a man do standing up, a woman does sitting down and a dog does on three legs'?The principal's eyes open really wide again and before he could stop the answer..

Boy: 'Shake hands'

Ms Anna: 'Now, I will ask some who am I sort of questions, ok?'

Boy: 'Yep.'

Ms Anna: 'You stick your poles inside me. You tie me down to get me up. I get wet before you do.'

Boy: 'A tent'

Ms Anna: A finger goes in me. You fiddle with me when you're bored. The best man always has me first. The Principal was looking restless and a bit tense He took one large Vodka peg.

Boy: 'Wedding Ring'

Ms Anna: I come in many sizes. When I'm not well, I drip. When you blow me, you feel good.

Boy: Nose

Ms Anna: I have a stiff shaft. My tip penetrates. I come with a quiver.

Boy: Arrow

Ms Anna: What word starts with a 'F' and ends in 'K' that means a lot of heat and excitement?

Boy: Firetruck

Ms Anna: What word starts with a 'F' and ends in 'K' and if you dont get it you have to use your hand.

Boy: Fork

Ms Anna: What is it that all men have one of. It's longer on some men than on others, the pope does not use his, and a man gives it to his wife after they are married?

Boy: Surname

Ms Anna: What part of the man has no bones but has muscles, lots of veins and loves pumping?
Boy: 'Heart'

The principal breathed a sigh of relief and said to the teacher : 'Send this boy to Stanford University ; I myself got all the answers wrong'.

Do you have the standard to get into Stanford??

Meals@home

Today, Meals@home....finally it is the centralised launch. It finally arrived after 5 days of preparation since Sunday. 5pm at Blk 80 Rm 1 to set up the place. It is just 3 person setting up the place with ballons, the gallery walk. Well the food is cartered. Everything seems so tight but things went with a simple start. The students came in.....chatting among themselves.....also as we tried to mingle among them. Well they all look young......and I, despite trying to wear something young, still looks old....guess my age is really catching up. Food ....yum yum.....fried rice. Looking at them eat and hearing from them too....well didn't really managed to capture them.....though the Emcees were nice to sing a chinese birthday song to all the July babies.....woah....haha....

Finally, I assigned to go pack the extra food in the boxes.....Thank God...all the food are given away, by hook or crook, persuasion or just coz I put it on their hand. Anyway, it was a great time meeting new people....people that I realise in time to come, I will be staying in their homeland. Also, I learned/ re-learned / reinforce something that if I am going to stay at a new place for long, I really need to be friendly and open to make more new friends locally. Well, it is just a new experience for me then....though it is one that I do see around.

Lastly, well, just to puke all these out, at least to make me feel at peace......like the Mouse / ? in Kungfu Panda....Inner Peace.....Inner Peace...... I just cried out......like something I have not done for quite a while.....Lord, just take away this yucky feeling away from me....I asked that u put me at peace or enlightened me.....for I am have being moving astray.....but dun abandon me......I know deep down, u are just so in control and all things are placed in your timing. Beautitful is you and assured are those who look into your eyes. Well, guess I failed #10 of my previous adopted article. Currently I am reading the book on how to talk in those difficult times. Or i.e. How to have that difficult conversation you've been avoiding with you ....... by Dr Henry Cloud and Dr John Townsend.

I thank God that I could type this blog out, empty those feeling and unsecured feelings......like sheep being away from the flock, or the comfort of the rod and the staff. I dun understand or can't remember why am I feeling this way again. Perhaps I would say it is something I desire and I fail to get.....thus let it God.....the stage above Give up Giving up........It is YOU who has all in your hands. Please speak, may I seek, before I leave Singapore.... I ask and pray in Jesus Name. Till the departure days approaches.

ICe Age 3 with Auston before that was good

Yup today, lunch is at Auston Grills. I tried the Hicokery Chicken grill. It was nice. And especially when I ate it both BAKED potatoes and MASHED potatoes. Fantansic lunch because the company....Melchiz gang....hearing from Jo...all the experience for Matt to listen as he is going for his enlistment. Indeed 4 different vocation.....Signaller, CO PA, Combat Engineer Pioneer and a Scout..... woah the amazing stories....myth-breakers and all those really reminded me about the past good days.

Followed by a great laughing Ice Age 3....Dawn of the Dinosaur....it was such a nice movie.....laugh with the touch of life.....the inside humour...though I sense some element of Mounty Python.... it was indeed a movie worth the laugh and company too...

After that is a trip down to PI.....grab my usual "Accumulator" stuff for WoW Adv Game Character Packs. Also to top things us, I added Intrigue and Incan Gold...both light games so that different type of people can play. Diversifying my library of games which was the objective of getting those games. Also just realised that I will need to get the Descent Minatures x 3 coming in and the Descent Compendium which in coming in Summer 09.

After that, Race to Galaxy x2, plus a game of Age of Steam and Memoir 44...both are sub-completed games. Well nicely played...... today is a great day....though somehow, I seems to be triggered to think of someone after Miss E mentioned about she talking to another person......well...guess leaving to work oversea soon really challenges......like I start to pray, "All set, time to chase that person."
