A life about Nehemiah - winning when your problmes seem insurmounable. Indeed nowadays, our problems always seems to insurmountable, however, at times we are also blocked by the fact that the is a God too. There were 3 learning points that was shared during the service and they are really interesting.
Life mess is bigger than us, so is God's mission. These two, although mentioned in 2 different points, I will summarise them together. Only time when life mess is smaller than us is when we can see God mission is bigger than us. It is when we see the greatness of God. When we are accountable to the life mess, the problems and growth, it is when we begin to be serious about change and find change is possible. How do we know that God mission is bigger than us. Look at
Ephesian 4:11-16(New International Version)
11It was he who gave some to be apostles, some to be prophets, some to be evangelists, and some to be pastors and teachers, 12to prepare God's people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up 13until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ.
14Then we will no longer be infants, tossed back and forth by the waves, and blown here and there by every wind of teaching and by the cunning and craftiness of men in their deceitful scheming. 15Instead, speaking the truth in love, we will in all things grow up into him who is the Head, that is, Christ. 16From him the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does its work.

Body of Christ, the whole body, we......it is not for individual.....and also not for us alone to pull through God's mission. FROM HIM THE WHOLE BODY - it is from Christ, who is the Head, whom will lead us as easch of us does our work - "as each part does its work"
Nehemiah 2:18 (New International Version)
18 I also told them about the gracious hand of my God upon me and what the king had said to me. They replied, "Let us start rebuilding." So they began this good work.
"let us start rebuilding" - it is not for individual but together, to rebuild the walls.
Lastly, why Life mess and God mission is bigger than us, and being as a community, so that God's greatest miracle is available for us.

The Completion of the Wall
15 So the wall was completed on the twenty-fifth of Elul, in fifty-two days. 16 When all our enemies heard about this, all the surrounding nations were afraid and lost their self-confidence, because they realized that this work had been done with the help of our God.
52 days to rebuild a wall that was downed for 70 years. Everyone knows that is only by the grace and hand of God. In a community, really God's greatest miracle is available. Be it like for Superstar Training acadamey camp last month 6-9 Jun, or the Cambodia English + Christmas event, and many more, how a community of christian, coming together, knowing that God's mission is bigger than us, but believing that God's miracle is really there.....and truth enough, God's miracle always comes.
Enter to my 26th year and also coming to 8 years as a active christian. This journey is something that I will never regret embarking and will I not leave it....because I understand and know the fullness of the grace that God has for me in this life....and the promises, limited that I know, but sufficient for me to move the next step, closer and abinding to what he wants me to do. I slowly understand it is not about what my desires, or subjecting myself to my own wants, but trusting that God see those desires and will never keep the best from us. As I continue to seek for the direction clear, the faith to walk that direction, and even the faith to know what I hear or see, I can see that really faith is believing. Faith is not just hoping, or feeling, but really taking that first step. 100K blessing is really teaching and putting me to the test, from the rest, dare to step out. dare to face the challenges of life and know that comfort of God is always there.
Thank God for the quiet but yet remember 26th birthday. One that I realise, who remembered my birthday, and who are just a little too busy. But well, I will still remember theirs. Joy is just spending time with those whom I treasure, not only because they remember, or they do spend time with me, but it is the amount I can bless and give them. I am neither so noble. I also still wish to have someone accompany me for my birthday.....but I just take joy and rejoice in the company of God. Who would wish to spend the time with me? I know one who always will want to.....just here, who would wish to?
