About 300 years ago, the Plague had reached the village of Eyam in England. It all began with a tailor named George Vicars opening up a parcel containing cloth that was infested with fleas. He took out the cloth and spread it out, releasing the plague-infrested fleas everywhere. Vicars died within four days and the entire village was soon in chaos. All roads to the village were blocked in an effort to stop the spreading of the disease. The people of Eyam were left to die, abandoned by the rest of the world. But about a year later, the people of Eyam were in for a surpirse. More than half othe population had overcome the Plague and was still alive. One woman had lost her husband and six children within a week, but she herself had survived. The man who had dug the graces for hundereds of corpses had survived. What was their secret? It was their bloodline. An examination into their DNA structure revealed that they had genes that stopped them from contracting the disease. They were saved thanks to good genes. They survived a deadly epidermic just because they were born into a family of a certain bloodline.
Overcoming the Plauge of Sin is not much different. In order to survive the plague of sin, being a descendent of Adam does not suffice. You need someone else's blood. You need the blood of Jesus, the last person in the line of Adam. It is the bloodline of Heaven. Jesus came to Earth so he could pass on the bloodline of God to a people dying from the plague of sin. There is power in His blood.
