Christ the sacrifice

There are many world religions, and many of the world's religions practice and teach similar morals and messages. Most religions, though perhaps not all, teach harmony, love and peace, in one form or another. Nevertheless, there are difference between Christianity and every other religion.

One aspect of Christianity which sets it apart from the rest, is that our faith is about having a relationship with God, and not simply serving a far off god religiously. He desire to have an intimate relationship with everyone, and God desires to know all His creation by name.

But Christianity sets itself apart in more than just how we do, but also in who we worship. We have surrendered our lives to Jesus Christ because of what He has done for us. As we build our relationship with Him, we realize that Christ is the fulfillment of all we were ever looking for. Corrine Armstrong suggest: "Individuals are going to find that Christ is the fulfillment of what they had tried all their life to find through religion."

After all, Christ is the Savior and Redeemer of the world. There will be some who accept His message, and there will be those who reject it. God gave humanity religion to show us that we cannot be prefect. Religion is not inherently bad or evil, but it is impossible to do it perfectly. That is what makes Christ's sacrifice so special and extraordinary.

First, God gave us a law, telling us what we must do, how we must do it, and so on and so forth. He showed us what was required in a perfect religion. Then, He gave us the chance to try and be perfect using this religion. To be blunt, we failed. So then God came himself, fulfilled the law, and redeemed us.
