When Daniel heard the urgency of the matter in revealing the meaning of the king's dream, Daniel ran to his fellow brothers and prayed together for God's mercy. At a young age, these four friends knew the power of fellowship through prayer. When they were together, seeking God with one heart. He would be there. J.C.Ryle speaks of how "there is a real 'spiritual presence' of Christ, wherever His believing people meet together in His name. This is the plain meaning of His famous saying. 'Wherever two or three gathered together in My name - there I am in the midst of them!" (Matt. 18:20). The smallest gathering of true Christians for the purposes of prayer or praise, or holy conference, or reading God's Word - is sanctificied by the best of company ! The great or rich or noble may not be there - but the King of kings Himself is present - and angels look on with reverence!" Seek the Lord together with your family in Christ and claim the promises of God. There may be nothing better on this earth than communing with our Heavenly Father. If anything, it is great practice for the times ahead when we can spend eternity with Him in His holy presence forever.
