Praise God's Omnipresence

God's omnipresence is something that should fill us with awe. As humans, we are very limited in what we can do. We are limited in the time that we can stay here on earth. We are limited in the places that we can go, and the things that we can do every day, week, month and year. We are limited in what languages we can learn, what subjects we can study, and even how much money we can make in a lifetime.

Our whole lives work under the paradigm of limits. We learn what our limits are, and occasionally, we try to break past our current physical, mental, or emotional limitations to new boundaries. But, as much as we may try to push our own limits, we can never become limitless. Only God is.

This is one of the qualities of our God. He is limitless. This enables Him to do whatever He sees fit to do. We can only sit back and marvel at God for who He is and what He is capable of. Thomas Reade writes: "When I reflect upon your omnipotence, omniscience, and omnipresence; upon your infinite holiness, inviolable justice, and unerring wisdom; upon your faithfulness, and truth; your everlasting love, your sovereign grace, and your patience; how am I filled with awe and dread!"

We are often told of God's amazing attributes, but we don't often take the time to dwell on what God really is capable of. We say God is everywhere, but not only do we take this for granted, we downplay how awesome and incredible this really is. Don't forget to praise God because He is everywhere!
