In the Bible, there are many references to the light of Jesus Christ. "O house of Jacob, come, let us walk in the light of the Lird" (Isa 2:5). As Jesus Christ is light, this light contains the power to cast out darkness and empowers those who have received this light to commune with God. When you accept the invitation to "walk in the light of the Lord," there is transformation that takes place within the Christian who has accepted Jesus as Lord, Charles Spurgeon, in his sermon "Walk in the Light," mentions the discoveries we make in our lives when the light Christ shines upon our lives.
1.In this light we find certainity for the mind.
2.In this light we find rest for the conscience.
3.In this light we find direction for judgement.
4.In this light we find delight for th soul.
5.In this light we find communion for the heart.
When you read these five points, does your soul resonate in agreement with these statements? Have you found these things to be true in your life because the light of Jesus Christ lives within you and shines brightly upon every aspect of your life? Why not discover what Christ wants to receal in your life by accepting the invitation to walk in His light?
