My Answer is Jesus Christ!

Sundar Singh, the Indian Christian missionary, used to be like the Apostle Paul, criticizing and persecuting Christianity. But after experiencing a conversion similiar to Paul's, he became a minsiter and poured all his energy into preaching the Gospel to Hindus. Once, Sundar Singh was visiting England when a professor of theology asked him, "You converted from Hinduisum to Christianity. What is something Hinduisum lacks that Christianity has?" Singh's answer was simple. "That is Jesus Christ." The professor was unsatisfied with the answer and asked again. "Isn't there some kind of speical teaching or doctrine that is clearly different from your former religion?" "No. There is no special teaching or doctrine. It was the Living Jesus Christ that converted me." However, the professor was still unsatisfied. "Mr Singh, I don't think my question are getting across to you. What I'm asking you is what thought or philosophy of Christianity was different from Hinduism that made you follow it so fervently?" To this, Sundar Singh gave the same answer, " That would be Jesus Christ."

That's right. The making of a new person is only possible through Jesus Christ. No creed, doctrine, or philosophy can make this happen. May you find the awesome Jesus Christ in the Word today.
