Be contended with little things and always give thanks.
Yes indeed. this was the attitude in the relaxed status of me, contended with a photo....and giving thanks to God whom I know has such great prefect plans for me that I still have yet to fully comprehend. But with faith, not just hoping and neither based on feeling, but perhaps just knowing how God is so faithful in the past and thus now, although I am still not fully able to, I know I have a all-able Christ who is living in me.
Knowing my life is a miracle and one that is exchanged with a heavy price. It is not just a life that changed. Changed is part of the exchange.Changed amounts to differences in the person; exchange is a complete different person.
Galatians 2:20 (New International Version)
20I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.
Simple truth that just need simple faith to believe. It is "I no longer live, but Christ lives in me" This statement clearly says that the I is no longer live, be-ing, controls. Yet second statement of "Christ lives in me" still has the "me" element. This I understand as the "me" now is the flesh but the spirit that lives within is different. The soul being is Christ. Thus the "I" that was in me is no longer there, or "I" is displaced.
With this knowing, now understand why the old-self is so wishing to go back to "me". IT is the old home, the place of refugee. Thus that is why in
Luke 9:23 (New International Version)
23Then he said to them all: "If anyone would come after me, he must deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow me.
and also in
Romans 12:2a (New International Version)
2aDo not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.
Thus I pray and ask, Thanks to be God for all everything you have sustianed me through the week and through my illness. Allow me to deny myself and grant me the strength to carry the cross daily to follow you. It is Christ who lives in me. In Christ all things are possible.
Isaiah 40:31 (New International Version)
31 but those who hope in the LORD
will renew their strength.
They will soar on wings like eagles;
they will run and not grow weary,
they will walk and not be faint.
Thank Lord in all things. And also let the Isaac of trying to know CSH also be lifted to you too. Take it for I believe, God will provide the sacrificial Lamb
